All Bon Vivant DC events are created with a dual purpose; to ensure clients have a great time and learn something new. All events will begin with a wine tasting 101 and cover wine origin, tasting notes and pairing suggestions, along with vineyard information. Formatting is flexible, according to event goals.

Taste six grower champagnes and learn about what makes the terroir of champagne so unique, along with tasting the diversity of the most lauded wine region in the world.
Start with a glass of local sparkling wine, and taste through six additional wines from nearby Virginia and Maryland Wine Countries.
Old World vs. New World
Discover what makes Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Bordeaux blends vary according to region, winemaking practices, and terroir. Have preconceived wine notions challenged as you taste through a New and Old world example of each variety and learn to navigate a wine list like a pro.
Virginia Wine Country Day Trip
Enjoy a VIP experience touring Virginia wine country. Taste through 13 cuvees from 3 wineries, enjoy private tasting rooms, local cheese pairings, a behind the scenes tour, 2 course sit down lunch, and luxury chauffeured transport. 12- 14 guests.
Catering and sourcing
While Bon Vivant DC does not offer catering, we are happy to advise on pairing suggestions for your events.
All alcohol is sourced from a trusted 3rd party vendor and delivered to your event space, in accordance with ABRA regulations. Purchasing decisions and delivery arrangement is made by Bon Vivant DC for a seamless event experience.
Glassware and Equipment
Basic glassware for up to 24 guests is included, as are stainless steel spit/dump buckets and a chilling tub for up to 10 bottles. Additional glassware, or an upgrade to Riedel crystal stemware, is available for an additional fee.
All other equipment must be rented elsewhere.
Clients are responsible for pre-chilling the wines and providing adequate ice on site.
Events up to 15 people are managed by one staff person. Each additional increment of 15 guests requires additional support staff at a flat rate fee, dependent on event length.
